LESSONS
For over 15 years, Zac Watson has balanced his passion for teaching with a successful career as a touring and studio musician. He offers private guitar and bass lessons from his personal home studio in West Footscray — a relaxed and creative space designed to help students of all levels feel focused, inspired, and confident in their playing.
Lessons are open to students of all skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced players. While experience isn't required, students should be self-motivated and eager to improve.
Zac’s teaching combines real-world experience with a personalised, music-focused approach. The aim is simple: help students sound better, play better, and enjoy the process.
WHY LEARN WITH ZAC?
Effortless Technique

Learning Songs That Build Skills
Students learn and analyse songs to improve timing, groove, dynamics, and feel — with context, not just repetition.
Music Theory That’s Actually Useful
Theory is taught in a hands-on, musical way, supporting songwriting, improvisation, and understanding of harmony and structure.
Digital Support for Long-Term Progress
Each student receives a private digital folder, updated weekly, which may include:
Lesson notes and summaries
Curated listening and practice materials
Backing tracks and charts tailored to each student
